Welcome to the Omanda Desert & Wildlife Tours website! Our tour operating company, based in Namibia, works exclusively with professional guides, who specialize in escorting you, through an ecological tourism.

Since 1991, Vincent Henry and David Rey have gained field experience of Namibia and can share this with you through their adventure based tourism. We encourage you to discover the astonishing diversity of Namibia in small groups aboard converted 4X4 vehicles. 

To fulfill our commitment to get closer to nature, we place at your disposal our knowledge of the animal life and flora found across the different regions visited.
As we specialize in the remote North West lands of Namibia, you will penetrate it, off the usual organized tours. Together, we will search for black rhinos and desert elephants in their extended territories. We will let you meet the semi-nomads Himbas also named Red People who constitute one of the last Southern African ethnic groups still practicing its ancestral lifestyle. Finally, we will observe animal life in the northern-east regions in the wild reserves of the Kaudom, the riverside of the Okavango, and the approaches of the Kwando River in the Caprivian region where herds of elephants gather during the dry season. Thanks to the opening of the frontier post of Mata-Mata, we are now able to also invite you to discover the red dunes of the Kalahari and the animals of the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.

Always giving the highest respect to the local population, the animal life and the regional fragile environment we meet on the way, we invite you to live according to the tempo of nature so that you grasp the vastness of Namibian landscapes. We will make you estimate the value of starlit nights in spacious tents, with barbecues evenings served at tables, or, in accordance to individual budgets, in exclusive lodges of the highest comfort.

From the ochre dunes of the Namib Desert, to the celebration of the wildlife in Etosha Park and the chaotic landscapes of the Damaraland and Kaokoland, we offer you a unique experience off the beaten track.
